The press conference was held to launch Samsung's i7 and i70 digital cameras for the Taiwanese market. Both cameras were first unveiled back in January, and feature fairly unconvential designs. The Samsung i7 has seven megapixel resolution, a 3x optical zoom lens, and a huge 3" LCD display mounted on a spring-loaded swivel that serves to set the camera's operating mode. The Samsung i70 has identical sensor resolution, zoom range and LCD size but with a sliding cover that conceals the entire lens portion of the camera when not in use.
