Adobe Camera Raw 4.1 Update Due In June

Adobe has updated its raw-image-processing plug-in for Photoshop. According to the company, Camera Raw 4.1 offers improved noise reduction and sharpening tools, as well as raw file support for 13 additional cameras and digital backs.

The newly supported models are:

Fuji FinePix S5 Pro
Nikon D40x
Olympus E-410
Olympus SP-550 UZ
Sigma SD14
Phase One H20
Phase One H25
Phase One P20
Phase One P21
Phase One P25
Phase One P30
Phase One P45

Camera Raw 4.1 will be available by June 1, 2007, as a free download from Adobe's Web site for users of Photoshop CS3, Photoshop Elements 4.01 for the Mac, and Photoshop Elements 5.0. Adobe says it will also update Photoshop Lightroom with the Camera Raw 4.1 enhancements in the near future.
