Ricoh Releases GRD v2.3 Firmware Update

Ricoh has released a firmware update for its 8.13-megapixel GR Digital compact camera. Firmware version 2.3 corrects a bug in its movie mode and gives users more color mode options.

The firmware update includes the following:

  • A fix to movie sound when playing a file in Windows Vista.
  • The addition of Sepia as an option in the color modes settings.
  • The ability to change contrast and sharpness values in the black-and-white and sepia modes.
  • A bracketing feature that allows users to shoot black-and-white, color, and sepia versions of a photo at the same time.
The update is Mac and Windows compatible and can be downloaded at www.ricoh.com for Windows or at www.ricoh.com for Mac operating systems.
