The investment will take place from this year through March 2010, Sony said "Sony is positioning image sensors as a key focus area of its semiconductor business," the company said in a statement.
"Through the reinforcement of this facility, Sony will strengthen supply and provide the platform for further image sensor business growth," it said. The company is among global leaders in image sensors.
Now if they will only release the two new DSLR's they’ve been promising over the last few months.
