Iowa Photographer Wins 2006 First Book Prize

Danny Wilcox Frazier, a freelance photographer from rural Iowa, has won the 2006 Center for Documentary Studies/Honickman First Book Prize in Photography. First prize includes a $3000 grant and publication of his own photo book by Duke University Press in association with CDS Books. The annual First Book Prize is open to American photographers of any age who have never published a book-length work.
